Neither. Stay at the Resortquest Maui Kaanapali Villas. Lovely location right on the beach. Condos with kitchens. Renovated pools. Can take the little trolley to Whaler's Village for shopping and get a $1 Maui bus down to village of Lahaina for touristy shopping....the condos are large and lovely.

Absolutely Westin-fantastic grounds, swimming pools, jacuzzi, right on Kaanapali beach,next door to Whaler's Village,great service too!
