Subject: Austin's Alaska Adventures Location: St. Michael, AK Title: bad leaders/bad trip ID#: 6925512 We took a dog sledding trip with Austin's Alaska Adventures and we would not recommend it to anyone!! The owners/operators, Clara and Jerry were rude and thoughtless throughout the trip. They drank excessively starting early each day and argued with each other continually. They did not have any options for we who were unable to complete 100 miles of dog sledding over several days. They were exhausted from the moment they met us at the airfield and all 6 of us on the trip felt their lack of interest. Clara's bursts of anger were felt by all. They had one delightful helper who quit during a family argument at Golsovia Lodge. We were happy when the trip ended. Jo and Karen |

Wow, We were just looking at austins alaska adventures thinking it sounded like a great trip. adog sledding is something we've always wanted to do. Sorry you had such a bed trip. Would hate to be so excited and then so dissapointed. Do you have any advice who to go with. Thanks

We just completed a week fishing at the Austin's Golsovia Lodge, and nothing has changed. Very disorganized, haphazard, family conflict. I had brought 2 friends along, and this is not a cheap trip! Air travel to St. Michael is not simple or cheap. Very disappointed, my recommendation is to stay away. | ||||||
