It just doesn't have the same feel...there are better places for these tasty treats...but it will suffice if you are in a hurry...but if you are in a hurry who really has time for delicious fried dough with piles of sugar and a spot of coffee? more

If you crave a beignet without the hoopla of waiting in line at the 'real" Cafe du Monde this isn't a bad substitute. I took a bag of beignets loaded with powdered sugar on a morning walk it's close to the Hilton..and one the better food options if you find yourself at the Riverwalk. more
