I have eaten at Sammy's a few times and never had a bad experience. The food has always been very very good and the service wonderful. the BBQ shrimp, crawfish pies and crawfish ettoufee are out of this world. i will continue to eat there again and again more

Our regretful Sammy's experience took place at 6 pm on a Sunday. Most of the people on here are raving about the 2nd floor balcony view of Bourbon Street. We ate inside but the atmosphere in the restaurant is not bad. After ordering our drinks of soda and placing a food order they brought us french bread and salad. They... more
We ate here on Bourbon Street, the patio area is perfect for watching passersby. The food was way overpriced for the taste and quality. The menu is varied enough to accomodate almost everybody, the staff is very friendly and really appreciates your patronage.... more

Sammy's is conveniently located on Bourbon St. The decor is ordinary, but the service and food was anything but! The barbequed shrimp was outstanding. The crawfish etouffe was delicious. The red beans & rice were classic! Even the appetizers we... more
Get the trio, and try and talk them into an extra crawfish pie! We drive out of our way on the way to Florida for the pies. more
