Dined on May 24th -- food was delicious, service was excellent, room was brighter than it seemed to need to be, crowd was happy, selection was extensive. No real complaints. I have eaten at many, many restaurants around the world. Galatoire's is one of the best. Period. Oysters en brochette with a great wine is sublime, and that defines this New Orleans landmark. You may have to stand in line outside for a long time, but it is worth the wait. Five stars from me! more
