I can't believe O Ya is not more highly rated on this site, particularly after Frank Bruni of the New York Times dubbed it the best new restaurant in America. We recently visited O Ya in Boston. Preconceived notions had been formed by some friends who went months ago ("pretty expensive") and the recent New York Times review by food critic Frank Bruni which was effusive in its praise. Mind blowing sushi. You can't go wrong on this menu, just get everything. Enjoy it, as you'll be taking out a second mortgage tomorrow. It wouldn't kill them to give you a bit more for your$$. more
if it's your first time, do the omikase -- it is an amazing way to experience the wonders that the o ya chefs come up with. it is a little steep at ~$130 per person, but worth it. might be a scary bill if you're a big eater. more
