We visited Toro based on its good reviews here on Tripadvisor when we stayed in Boston, July 2008, and we were not disappointed. I am a big fan - and a bit of a regular of Toro. It is deep in the South End, and difficult to get to by public transportation, but well worth the drive, walk or cab ride. Great drinks and great tapas. The corn is toasted and then bathed in a pool of perfectly salty butter. It's like what grill cheese would taste like if it were transformed into some sort of produce. Great. more

Best best tapas place ever! Don't forget to try Fois gras, sea urchin stew, and the corn! The drink-list is very creative, the wine with cola was very amazing! more
