Just the ambiance itself, how beautiful the dining room is was enough to make my night because my boyfriend took me here for my birthday. I'll be honest, a bit disappointed with my main course. Prices are among the highest in Boston - but worth it if you can afford it. One great (less expensive) option; weekend tea. Not exactly a "by the book" English tea - but very nice nonetheless. I'm disappointed to hear they'll be moving from their charming townhouse location to one of the hotels. Blech. more

An amazing and elegant dining experience. Service was impeccable and the spring degustation menu was absolutely spectacular. In addition to the 6 course dinner we were served with a pre dinner frothy mushroom soup and a pre dessert lemon-kiwi sorbet which was out of this world! After dessert there was more to come....petits fours with the check......plus a macaroon favor... more
