“everything my family ordered was from the freezer section in the grocery”

I will start with the good. The place is charming and the waitress was great. But if you are going for good food, forget it. Everything we ordered tasted like something I could buy packaged from the grocery store. My husbands strombolli was like hot pocket. The food was very good and portions were large and the place was very clean. The service however could use some help. The waitress gave me the wrong meal (I did not mind because it was delicious) and she took to long getting us refills on our drinks. more

We have been to Giovanni's on all three of vacation's. The most recent being August 4, 2007. We have always had great service, great food with plentiful portions. It is usually the first place we go to for dinner when we arrive in VA Beach. more

We had a bad experience at Giovanni's at 20th and Atlantic on Tuesday August 8th.
