The food is just o.k. and the service so-so. It isn't what is used to be. Worse, the new owner is cheap! While cleaning out my father's house (he recently passed away), I found an unused Cortese's gift card. I wrote to Chris Cortese to have it reinstated. He refused citing he "couldn't determine the value." Talk about being cheap... more

My family waited one hour with a reservation, then when we sat down the waitress acted like we were an inconvience to her because she wanted to leave. When we asked talked to the manager we were told she was feeding her baby in the office??? I understand it's a family restaurant but get someone to fill in for you.... more

I was raised and grew up in Binghamton, I also lived in Long Island for ten years and have been to the best restaurants in NYC. I will say this, if you truly want to go here sit at the bar only on Mon thru Thurs night because Glen is not only a great bartender but he recommends the best... more
