This is Cape Cod, New England in a clam shell. It's a neat-as-a-pin diner with very friendly staff, an anything-you-might-want menu and a bakery on the premises. Have mercy! Some web sites may lead you to this place if you are searching for "kid-friendly" restaurants on the Cape. This is just a warning that the place is NOT kid friendly. Seek this place out and enjoy super fresh lobster salad rolls and yummy mac and cheese. Although we didn't try it since we were scarfing up all the lobster in New England, other diners at our counter said the meatloaf was delicious. The service is friendly and fast plus the prices are very reasonable especially for the Cape. more

I am a frequent visitor to the Cape and I always make it a point to stop at Marshland when I am there. If you don't mind the diner atmosphere, the food is really, really good. Homestyle. The Marshland Restaurant is a cozy old-fashioned diner in every sense of the word. Comfort food like your Grandmother used to make (pot roast (!!), pasta and seafood) at a very reasonable price with prompt, friendly service. more
