One of the best breakfast lunch / restaurants we have visited. We stayed at Donner Lake and had a meal there almost everyday. A huge menu to choose from, the Huevos Rancheros is to die for. Can't wait to go back. more

Nothing special. Slow service, unimpressive food, would not return. Does not say much for local's taste. more

Donner Lake Kitchen is great! Sheesh-I'd love to keep it a local secret. It's not at all elegant, formica rules. The service is exacty what a small town diner should be, friendly and warm. The food tastes homemade. The portions are large. Yum!!! more
