In the Albany area for a business trip, I did not find the dinner choices around my hotel (i.e. IHOP, Denny's Cracker Barrel, etc.) appealing. Please note that this restaurant is no longer in the Armory Center. It is in the Hampton Inn hotel in downtown Albany. Not much else has changed, however, and it is still going strong. A local favorite for a nicer meal. more

Yono Purnomo is a former american culinary chef of the year and been featured in the Today show, among other accolades. Need I say more? This is a chef that could succeed in any big city but for some reason calls Albany home. The menu is indonesian and italian. We have not tried the italian dishes. But the indonesian dishes... more

On our way from touring Fort Ticonderoga to the Shaker Village, I decided to spend the night in Albany instead of Pittsfield MA, and save the money on the hotel on this restaurant. Good decision!
