Rude, pretentious waitstaff. My steak was overcooked and I sent it back. The waiter was so unaccomodating and huffy, I ended up not eating the replacement steak for fear it had been rubbed on someone's sweaty armpit. more

My husband & I love this place. We've been 3 times now on 2 different Aspen trips and have had only delicious and creative food and lovely service. We have also taken our 3 kids and didn't get any dirty looks:) more

The service is a little lacking, especially by the standards the average Aspenite expects, but the food is great, if ala carte. more

Unfortunately, D19 did not live up to its expectation. My husband got a big long hair in his duck entree - didn't know ducks had hair... ALSO more importantly, he ordered Lagavulin (16 yr) scotch and was served Glenlivit (12yr) as a substitute without their even asking him or telling him they had no Lagavulin - AS IF he would... more

#38, I haven't been to 37 better restaurants in my life. The food, very hearty and filling, was incredibly flavorful with unique combinations. One complaint, we had a hard time getting a reservation between 7 and 9pm, but we saw why when we arrived. The restaurant is very small with only about 15 tables, but the food was also fantastic.... more

We are from Australia and have been here for the last two weeks. We have tried several restaurants but then came across D19. The food is superb and the service is excellent! We have since eaten here three times and every one has been great. more

but how many do. "Good" is the adjective that fit's the dishes that were served to my wife and I tonight... and pricey. The appetizers we had were well thought out and interesting but I have never had to pick out yellow greens from my salad at a restaurant with a very good or excellent rating and with the pricing... more

We just had a fantastic meal there last night, so was surprised by the negative comments. We were tired and hungry, pretty much stumbled upon this restaurant (first time in Aspen, late arrival, a quick walk through the dim streets of downtown under the rain). It was pretty much a case of this one looks as good as any other... more

The patio is wonderful, perhaps one of the nicest places to sit for lunch or dinner. Charming with a conopy of trees, and set right in the middle of the outdoor mall for great people watching. That's the good news. The bad news is that the food is atrocious and the service quailty way below acceptable standards. Aspen has many... more
