“OK food, bad wine service”

The food we ordered was ok. Some creativity in their dishes, but my fish was overcooked. My only real complaint was my waiter's attitude when I told him my wine bottle (from a very short list of wine selections...) was corked. He sipped from my glass and said he didn't think so and put the glass back down as if... more

Chef and owner Kris is Mexican born and American trained. He takes the best of worlds and creates culinary masterpieces that are riffs on traditional Yucatanean dishes. Do not miss a chance to dine at this small restaurant a little off the beaten path in San Miguel. Write down the address as our taxi had never heard of this place... more

This restaurant is a little hard to find, but when you do, you are in for a treat. All of the meals are excellent and the staff is very helpful. There back of the restaurant outside is also secluded and quiet. Kris has created quite a unique restaurant with food that caters to everyone. I would highly suggest this restaurant. more

Absolutely wonderful! This is now my favorite restaurant in Cozumel. The food is delicious, the service and atmosphere delightful. Kris is a very hands on owner and looks after all his customers. The gardens in the back are very romantic and secluded. This was an absolute wonderful dining experience. I can't wait to go back with others. Joe and Pam... more

I've been to many resorts and fancy resturants, but this place is my ultimate fav! The ambience, the L.A. tropical style decor and the service was muy fantastico. I can't recommend this place enough! Everyone in our party shared my opinion for sure! If you go anywhere near Cozumel, you gotta go to Kinta! Don't miss this treasure in Mexico. more

Kinta is one of the finest restaurants in Cozumel. I have been traveling to Cozumel for 24 years. I know just about all of the restaurants on the island. This is truely Fine Dining...but at affordable moderate prices. Chris is a young man who definitly uses his imagination and talent in the kitchen. Be sure to ask Kris for his "Mexican Crem Brulee"....This dessert is to die for!! Everything on the menu is an original by Chris, and even the funky modern names he comes up with are fun.... more
