We ate in more than ten restaurants on our last visit to PV, and Cafe des Artistes was the head-and-shoulders favorite. Impeccable service, delightful ambiance, exquisite food. The desserts were to die for. Yes, it's the priciest in town, but you definitely get what you pay for. Go there at least once, unless you are on a bare bones budget. more

I went to Puerto Vallarta with 2 girlfriends and we went to dinner at Cafe des Artistes on our last night. It was honestly the best dinner that we had on our trip and well worth the money. The service was phenomenal! When we told our waiter how much we enjoyed our meal he brought over free champagne and dessert!... more

We’ve peered through the window at hanging glass teardrops, perused the menu and read the rave reviews but could never pull the trigger…or open up the wallet. Until now, Café des Artistes is participating in Restaurant week, 3 courses for 269pesos! We arrived without reservations but they were able to seat us right away. I think we were very luck... more

I can't speak to the food at Cafe des Artistes, however, my friends and I did spend a few hours in the adjoining wine bar and we loved it. The place is located downtown, but is hidden a few blocks up from the boardwalk among a number of small art galleries. We never would have discovered this area if not... more
