This hotel has a number of excellent features such as the gardens, fine views, excellent buffet breakfast and especially the great private beach. But there are also some obvious shortcomings. The a la carte restaurant is way overpriced for simple mediteranean dishes for which one pays a quarter of the price in the nearby village. Our family room was clean... more

We just arrived home yesterday August 31, 2008. I have to say that the Eagles Palace is a hotel that offers a great Beach location… magnificent view and that’s it. I am agreeing with all the reviews… this is very good 3 stars hotel. Dirty rooms - housekeeping normally “visit“the room at 3.00pm when the normal people have rest. Very... more

We stayed in Eagles Palace from 11-23 August in a twin sea view room and had a ball from start to end. On arrival we were greeted with sparkling wine and orange which was a lovely touch. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated as are all common areas in the hotel. The bedrooms are basic but clean and staff come... more

Unfortunately we read some 'Trip Advisor' reviews just after we had made the booking and we couldn't cancel it! However the holiday has served to confirm what most people have already written, namely this hotel proports to be a 5 star hotel but has in fact many 3 or 4 star standards. We stayed in a standard room which was... more

Not the luxurious hotel presented on the web site. Rooms are ordinary but adequate. Public areas need refurbishment. Pretty gardens and fair pool. The spa and gym are smart, the water ski-ing is OK, sailing facilities poor. Breakfasts are good but the one meal I had in the Greek style restaurant was overpriced and nothing special. (I had the rest... more

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights from 20th August 2007. Our previous holidays have either been in Dubai or Barbados, so in comparison we found the following: On arrival at the hotel we were greeted with a friendly receptionist who offered us sparkling wine whilst we checked in. The reception area was dark (not exceptionally so) and cool,... more

The hotel presents itself as a five star resort, which it is not. The problem with Eagles Palace is that it is not standardised at all, either in terms of types of rooms or in terms of facilities and services. With the exception of a truly private spacious beach and a rich breakfast, the rest of its facilities, infrastructure and... more

Just back from two wonderful weeks at this lovely hotel on the Aegean coast. The hotel is located about 90 mins from the airport (by fast taxi!). We were given a complimentary glass of sparkling wine on arrival and were lucky enough to be given a free upgrade to one of the 16 bungalows within the gardens. We had booked... more
