Negatives: -Stayed at San Juan Isla Verde arrived around 1p, not accommodated w/ early check in until 4p by that time kids were cranky and tired. -House keeping horrible, dirty comforter was set aside to be changed instead they used the same comforter, flipped it around. Overall, the room was just okay..nothing spectacular. Upon arrival the bathroom was disgusting. We called down and they sent someone up right away to clean it so they get an A for responsiveness. I initially booked my vacation to stay at the El San Juan, and after reading the horrible reviews, I decided to switch over to the Intercontinental. I was so relieved I did that. We stayed overnight at the Intercontinental Hotel on our way home to St. Croix. We were very pleased with the accommodations. The bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The service was extra friendly and efficient. The location is great if you need to stay in Isla Verde. The grounds are very pretty and well maintained. more
