The Holiday Inn Waikiki is opposite the Hilton Hawaiian Village - but you wouldn't know it, because it is hidden back from busy Ala Moana Boulevarde. Rooms away from the road do not have too much road noise - but do have noise from air conditioning. I found the hotel very clean and the staff pleasant and helpful. I didn't... more

My husband had a business trip to Oahu and he arranged it so I could go with him. The first couple of nights, it was so noisy in the room right over us that we could not sleep most of the night. The noise continued til about 3 or 4 am.......after a 9 hrs flight it made for a very... more

I stayed at the Waikiki Holiday Inn for five nights in November of this past year and loved it. While not paying attention the first day I went right past the entrance, which while marked is easy to go by if you're not paying attention. I was on the 9th floor and had a wonderful view of the ocean, albeit... more

Not too bad and within walking distance of the beach. I did have a problem when the night General manager accused me of ordering a movie when I told him I had not. Also I was surprised the room did not have a microwave oven. Finally, on the first night, the front desk had the professionalism of a teenager on... more

We checked in after a few problems with our reservation. Our family of 5 was relegated to one bedroom after having booked 2, but nevertheless we made it work. This Holiday Inn is off the beaten path to Waikiki, but close enough to walk. We usually pick Holiday Inn's when staying across the States and are almost always satisfied with... more

This is a basic, clean, no frills hotel. We had stayed there 11 years ago and were pleased to see that standards had been maintained. Our room on the 14th floor overlooked Ala Moana Boulevard and we were pleased that there was minimal traffic noise. There was some construction across the street but we experienced no noise from it. Our... more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Waikiki for 7 nights at the end of August 2006. We were on the 10th floor. The room was average size but was clean. The hotel is old and there are no frills but it met our needs. The price was good ($100/night). The hotel had a decent fitness center. The swimming pool was... more

We stayed 5 nights in August 2006 and enjoyed the stay. The place has been around a while and shows its age here and there but is well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The woman directing traffic in the parking lot was great. It's a couple miles from the heart of Waikiki, but it was a great value... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week at the end of April and were very happy with our stay. The rooms were nice and clean and all of the staff were very friendly and accomodating. There is a tour desk in the hotel to help with any excursion plans and the staff are more than happy to recommend... more

It is a good hotel, but a little far from the "action" of Waikiki. Parking is $12/day which I think it a little high, but since the hotel rates are around the $100/night range, paying for parking isn't that big a deal. Also, the parking that the hotel does have is very limited. I saw it fill up at night... more
