After visiting Niagara and staying at the Skyline Inn (which was great) we stayed a week at the Holiday Inn Downtown. Check-in was prompt and courteous. The room was very clean and decorated in very nice colors and fabrics. The beds were comfortable. They had a coffee station on the dresser instead of in the bathroom (which I find repelling).... more

The hotel was not luxurious or impressive, but my standards are not too high so I thought it would be ok. At over 150 dollars a night, I expect clean and comfortable. The room was damp and smelled a little earthy. The carpet seemed dirty, so I kept my sandals on. Over all it seemed ok until the following morning... more

I was in Buffalo on personal business for two days and was referred to the Holiday Inn by locals. Although a convenient location to get to and to where I needed to be and also to see the Niagara Falls attractions and the price wasn’t bad, the room AC was outdated and ran either too hot or too cold. It... more

I went to Buffalo for medical reasons and booked this hotel directly with the property itself. I have stayed here before and had great experiences. The property has not changed. Great service, great staff and the General Manager is top notch. Nice size rooms and very clean. Great food in the restaurant and always enough staff on duty. A great... more

I stay in hotels about 200 nights every year. This hotel has to be the loudest of any of them. I was there twice in two weeks and got no sleep either time. I realize the hotel can't control other guests, but both times, I had doors slamming constantly through the night. The hotel doesn't seem to have anything on... more

I needed a place to stay for the Dallas Cowboys Buffalo Bills Monday night game and having never been to Buffalo and realizing (no offense) that Buffalo/Niagara did not offer the type of hotels I have come to expect from the Chicago's and San Antonio's of the US I was not really sure what I was getting in to. I... more

Easy to get to with a front desk staff that goes out of it's way to be helpful, The Holiday Inn Downtown Buffalo is the place to stay when in the city. The room was very clean, the bed extremely comfortable, the bathroom was of medium size and spotless. While we didn't dine at the hotel, we did check out... more

While I did a lot of research on where to stay during our trip to Niagara Falls, I found Holiday Inn to be most cost effective hotel that was decent. I even noticed that it was cheaper to stay in Buffalo than in Niagara Falls. Even though its a half hour drive, it wasnt bad. Our room was clean and... more

Taking our 8-month old daughter for an overnight stay away from home for the first time. Originally wanted to get into the Double Tree closed by, and was hoping the hotwire roulette would land me there, because of the kitchenette more than anything. Got this hotel instead, read the reviews, and was kinda worried. It turned out fine, particularly in... more

The decor in this hotel is looking jaded and it has that slight musty smell associated with an older property. We booked through 'Skoosh' for a non smoking room but were informed that a smoking room had been booked in spite of our original confirmation print out confirming a non smoking room. The outside pool is dry pending repair. On... more
