Price a bit high $143 for accomodations however it was St. Patricks W/E. Location is 5-8 blocks from Riverwalk area. Easy walk or Trolley acess. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed March 20, 2008 in King room. Top floor. There are no great views, and the rooms are a bit small, especially squeezing a King bed in it. Not so great if you want to spend a lot of time hanging out in your room. Just the one chair at the desk, no others. But in SA there's SO much... more

We stayed here for Spring Break 2008. Our room was a Suite (202). Large room, walls were thick (former jail) so outside sound was minimal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfort Inn Alamo/Riverwalk is a very short walk from the Riverwalk, as well as the other associated attractions.
