My stay at the Biltmore was based on the location of the hotel and that it was the only hotel I could find room availablility on the dates I was there. I was told the hotel was beautiful and it certianly is. Check in was very courtious and quick. Parking in a downtown area is always tough so the added... more

The Biltmore is more elegant than the Super 8s and Holiday Inns we usually stay in, but my husband and I had had our wedding reception at the Biltmore (then Omni Biltmore) in 1990 when we lived in Providence, and we thought it would be nice to go back, albeit with our young kids. Our wedding reception had been in... more

We stayed one night so that our high school student could tour Brown University. The hotel is about a 3 - 5 minute drive from campus. The hotel is on the national historical register, and still has some of the ambiance you would expect from such a hotel. The lobby is impressive, and the staff is friendly. We had a... more

Thank you for sharing your comments regarding the positive experience you had during your stay at the Providence Biltmore. The Providence Biltmore was built in 1922 with the design of New York architects Warren and Wetmore, whose other commissions included Grand Central Station; the building’s unique v-shaped design afforded all guests an outside room. In the 1930’s and 40’s The...

We were part of a wedding party and took up most of the 15th floor for 2 nights, a Friday and a Saturday. In total, we had at least 10 rooms. They ranged from the largest suite to the least expensive rooms. The quality of the rooms was varied. Some were good and some were bad. Our room was a... more

We had an excellent stay at the Providence Biltmore over the July 4th holiday weekend. The room was clean and comfortable. While not one of the renovated rooms, we got a great rate through a travel website, so we were very pleased with what we got. The staff was attentive and available. The location is perfect and convenient to see... more

My husband selected this hotel based on word of mouth recommendations. He'd heard it was the historical place of choice in Providence. We were not disappointed. I've experienced The Westin's "Heavenly Bed" and Holiday Inn's version, but the Biltmore offered the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. It was like melting into a cloud, and I adored it.... more

This hotel is situated in a great spot, near the downtown attractions and Riverwalk. I found the employees to be very friendly and helpful. The best thing however, was the Grand Suite. Great value for the money and every convenience thought of. Beautiful bath with soaking tub and separate walk in shower. Very impressed with the attention to detail. Thank... more

We had the great "foresight" to stay at the Providence Biltmore at the suggestion of a friend who has made it an annual destination. On the East Coast for a college trip, my son and I found the accomodations to be excellent and the staff went out of our their way to be helpful. We also took advantage of a... more

I want to thank the general manager, Mr. Michael Allen for the excellent service and attention that was paid to our group during our recent Seminar (June 23-25, 2008). We stayed at the Providence Biltmore this last saturday (6/28). My wife and I were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary and I wanted to book a romantic room for the night. I ended up going with one of the newly renovated Grand Suites on the 15th floor. The room was absolutely perfect. I would say it is roughly 500 square... more
