My wife and I spent 7 days and 6 nights here in mid May, using our Marriott Rewards points to pay. In my opinion, Wailea is the most beautiful part of the island. Very green, beautiful homes and hotels, golf courses and gorgeous beaches!! The resort itself is located right next to The shops at Wailea (which has shops, restaurants,... more

We recently returned from a family vacation at the Wailea Marriott. This was our first time to the Wailea area of Maui. The resort was nicely landscaped and the facilities were clean. We had no problems with check-in or check-out. All the staff we encountered were very polite to us. We had a terrace view room on the 6th floor.... more

We stayed the last week in May at the Wailea Marriott with our two teenaged daughters and loved it. It has a very relaxing feeling and beautiful views. Since the hotel is low buildings spread out over the property, it has a more tranquil feeling than the large hotels in Kaanapali and Kahana. We are Marriott platinumn members and have... more

We had an amazing time in Maui at the Marriott Wailea! I am a Marriott Rewards member and booked the hotel with points. When we arrived I got upgraded to a great room just steps away from the ocean. We also faced the area where they perform the Luau and got to watch it for free when it was on.... more

Okay, I'll admit, it was my fault that we got trapped here for four nights. I purchased the room through Priceline for $160 a might after doing some research and figuring out that on Priceline you will either get the Maui Prince or the Marriott if you select "Resort." I saw enough decent reviews here that I figured we be... more

I've read a lot of reviews stating that it's not a Marriot standard hotel, etc., etc. etc. I guess that's because it's not a Marriot owned hotel. I was at the pool one day and was noticing that the server had to go back and forth to get our drinks a at bar that was across the property at the... more

We used marriott points for part of our stay and paid for the last night. The nice thing was, we got upgraded for our points stay but they let us keep our room for the extra night we paid for and did not make us switch. The hotel was very clean and when we complained because the tub didn't look... more

We stayed in the Marriott May 30 - June 4th. We loved our stay here. The room was booked using Marriott points. My husband is Platinum Elite, and we were treated great. The room was a deluxe ocean front room which found us soooo close to the ocean. We were in room 2318. Perfect! Our favorite spot was the adult... more

We stayed at the Marriott Wailea May 14-20 and found it to be quiet, relaxing and beautiful. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We self parked which was fine. The concierge made dinner reservations several times for us and we were given great tables. We travel to Maui almost every year and were familiar with the property when it... more

Wonderful facility. Recent refurbishment is superb except for the beds and pillows which were for our comfort marsh mellow soft resulting in little support and aching backs in the morning. Other than this slight issue, the Wailea Marriott boasts a very accommodating staff and a newly constructed adults only pool. Small refrigerators in each room are a plus. The breakfast... more
