This is an ok BW just off the I-15 in Barstow. Might be worth 60-70 max. Barstow is a dive in the desert, dont even know why its here but dont stay long. Its another weird town in a state with way too many weird towns. more

We found ourselves in the desert late at night and found the Best Western Desert Villa. We had a great night, very nice people and a wonderful breakfast. As usual with Best Western's, a good night at a good price. I would highly reccomend this hotel and will be back if we're ever in the area again. more

Older motel. Room needs updating. Furniture and especially the bed need to be replaced. Room could be cleaner. Light sleeper could be disturbed by traffic on nearby highway and trains. No nearby restaurants. more

I suspect there are more pleasantly situated properties off the track in Barstow -- we might have done better if we had had time to look around where there are some waterways for example. We were told the rate was $99 for AAA members. after we checked in we found out the rate was $89.10 for AAA! When I called the front desk I was curtly told we signed to pay $99.10!! The attitude of the front person was the most unfriendly I have seen in a hotel!! We will not let this happen... more

they had our reservations incorrect..they had them for the day I booked them 5/30 instead of 6/30. they charged us $10 more than quoted but corrected with no problem. Staff was nice. They do not email confirmations and that would have resolved the problem. What would have happened had they been full since we were a late arrival??? I won't... more

We came from Sacramento to stay at this hotel for one night. The room seemed to be clean, the beds were comfortable. We went to the continental breakfest the next day. Eggs, muffins, juice, it was a nice experience. I would go back. more
