Small, cramped, dirty, middle of nowhere Don't really want to go on as we didn't stay there in the end. Took one look at the outside and felt that we should give it a try so looked in the room and it was just dire! Couldn't stay there at all so drove up the road and booked in elsewhere which... more

I travel a lot on business, and since June my company started sending me to Barstow every 2 weeks for to 4 days at a time. For me the PennyWise Inn has been perfect. It's right next to the Marine Base, very clean, very friendly, and very affordable. Everything is included, the local calls, HBO, the microwave, the fridge. I... more
