I stayed in this inn for 3 nights. It's a very basic 3 star hotel, offering a basic breakfast - toast, juice, cereal, yogurt, coffee and tea. We stayed here for two nights in March. The hotel seemed recently remodeled. The room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast buffet was fairly good (not a hot breakfast, but a more than decent continental offering with biscuits, waffles, etc that you could microwave/put in toaster oven). The staff at this hotel is what really stands out. I am a woman traveling alone, and the front desk staff were very understanding of my needs and were quite protective, too, sort of like older brothers would be. The maid staff kept my room sparkling. I booked online from the Wingate website and got a super deal of $62 a night. I chose this hotel for the free internet service and past experiences with other Wingate inns. We've stayed at this Wingate Inn many times in the past 4 years when we visit family in the area. We don't even consider staying elsewhere. Nice breakfast, clean, comfortable rooms and public areas, pleasant staff,good value, plenty of parking, so convenient, right at I-85. more

Got a Roomsaver rate of $55 which was a steal for the quality. The room had a recliner, desk, 2 phones (one cordless), internet access, very comfortable king bed, iron and board, coffee, micro-fridge, hairdryer...
