I recently stayed in this hotel while attending the January Gift Show, and the location is perfect (as another reviewer has noted), and while I was impressed to some degree, I would only stay here again if work is footing the bill. What really impressed me the most was the staff. You could tell the Ritz employees knew their brand... more

Very uneven experience here. Was always greeted by name. Overall, friendly staff.....but so many glitches.. Burnt out bulbs at desk lamp, burnt out bulbs in steam room(which by the way is oneof the hotel's great amenities).Room still not cleaned by 4:30 the next day. Fire alarm going off at 6:00am(explained as some kind of test),surly maitre de at The Grill.... more

My new absolute favorite hotel in downtown Atlanta is the Ritz-Carlton. I go to the Gift Show every January at the AmericasMart downtown and have stayed in a variety of downtown hotels. For the few dollars more per night than the other places I've stayed Downtown it is totally worth it (keeping in mind I get a show-rate -- while... more

I stayed at the Ritz in downtown Atlanta for a business trip, and this hotel is top notch. The customer service is excellent, and all of the little things that the hotel does makes a great choice for a business traveler. The fitness room is superb with clean and up to date workout equipment. Room service was fantastic and the... more

I have no idea how they slapped the Ritz Carlton name on this place. We stayed here for a wedding and left the next morning to stay elsewhere. The overall feeling coudl be termed "Laura Ashley Goes Ghetto." The whole place is completely dated. Room was unclean, musty, furnishings tired and loaded with scratches, dings, stains. Stains on the carpets,... more

The Ritz was wonderful! Helpful staff that treated myself, husband, and ten month old baby like royalty. We had champagne and strawberries in our room when we arrived as well as a bag of goodies for our son! The bed was very comfortable and the room was very nice. We wished they had a hot tub, but the fitness center... more

I have stayed here about five times for the last year for business. My business has an office attached to the hotel, so it is convenient. The hotel is clean and the service is exceptional. the wake up calls and in service dining is always timely and courteous. that is the hotel's greatest asset. The last time I stayed (last... more

I left the hotel on a similar note to the one i entered on, disappointed. I was disappointed in the lack of that luxurious feeling you usually get when in the lobby of a Ritz. And I left in a hurry because the lack of service included (but wasn't limited to) a missed wake up call. The room was nice,... more

The Ritz in Atlanta was wonderful. We were treated extremely well and the very knowledgeable staff went above and beyond with everything they did. This hotel is so close to everything being downtown. The elevators are operated by room key access at all times of the day which is obviously very helpful for security purposes. Unfortunately, you have to use... more

My family, mother and aunt stayed in 2 rooms in March for a family wedding. We got a good price (for a Ritz room) because of the wedding. I was a bit concerned because of some of the reviews but we opted to stay here for convenience. Room itself: Decor very slightly old-ladyish but nothing old, frayed or anything less... more
