It was my first time in Atlanta (Nov 07) and I wanted to be located in the central of downtown. Booked the Days Inn on hotels.com because it was quite cheap. First impression - outdated. The reception staff werent that friendly but the attached restaurant staff are quite friendly and the food was alright. The room I had was spacious... more

This hotel is quite old and shabby, but was clean. But we had a terrible experience. My bed had metal bars sticking out of the bottom which I cut my leg open on. But worst of all our friends next door to us, awoke to find a man in their bathroom stealing money out of their wallets. He came in and... more

I stayed at this hotel during a cheerleading competition weekend (I was there with my children for the competition). There were not too many cheerleaders on our floor and overall it wasn't any nosier than I expected. The girls were in their rooms and quite at a reasonable time. During out stay, there was an "issue" with one of the... more

This hotel was dirt cheap and the location could not have been better. However, the "double" beds were smaller than a traditional full size bed, the hallways were dirty, and the whole place felt like it needed a full remodel. The staff while not rude, were not partiuclarly friendly either. However, if you don't plan to spend a lot of... more

I stayed at this hotel because the hotel where my recent conference was held was booked. It was very nice. The rooms were adequately spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a nice shower. The staff was pleasant and helpful. My only complaint was that the first night I was there, I needed cold medicine, and the gift... more

We stayed here on July 4th because we were going downtown for firewoks at Centennial Park. 1st of all, they gave us the wrong type of room. When we called and reported the problem, they told us to come back down and they would work it out. They gave us another room, but it was filthy.... dirty sheets, broken beer... more

I would not pay to stay at this hotel, but I was able to take advantage of their Best Rate Guarantee to get a free night. The room was very basic. The heater did not work, the room lacked insulation, and the tub was too filthy to actually take a bath in. We had a terrible night due to a... more

Booked my room through Orbitz. Checked-out a day earlier than planned. The hotel manager, Valeri, was very rude with answering my questions on charges. I left the general manager, Phil Tendett, a message to return my call, and that Valeri should go through a customer service training, but did not hear back from him. more

The most convenient hotel to stay in if you are going to the Georgia Aquarium and/or the World of Coca-Cola. It is just two blocks away and there are groups departing to and from the hotel to go to the attractions. Its not safe to walk around at night, but in the daytime it is a great place to play... more
