I booked this hotel because the website said it had a pool. Upon arrival, the pool wasn't working. Clerk said it wasn't open today. I asked when would it be open. He said probably not all summer due to pool renovations. I asked for discount because I thought I was paying for pool access. (you don't get anything you don't... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Red Roof Inn from 5/31/08 - 6/2/08. It wasn't spectacular, but it was comfortable. The important aspects of any trip were covered (i.e. safety, comfort, friendly staff, clean rooms/bathrooms, good location). I felt safe the whole time and was never concerned about coming in late (we made it back to the hotel around... more

I was pleasantly surprised by the stay. By far the best value for the money. Recently remodeled, it was as nice as the last time I stayed at the Westin Peachtree, but much friendlier staff and no hands out for tips. I got in early enough to park in front of the hotel so my car was safe and there... more

The Red Roof was fine. I stayed there with a friend for one night in November for a concert that we had come to town for. The room had been recently renovated and was quite nice. The bathroom was very clean and overall I felt the room itself was clean as well. Really, for a hotel in the center of... more

Now I understand why some reviewers downgrade a property due to service-related issues. This Red Roof Inn seems to have a recurring problem with lost reservations. Both the desk clerk and daytime manager couldn't find mine. I had to rummage through my luggage to find a printed confirmation. No apologies, no concern, not even a room that was ready. But... more

I booked a room here through Expedia. Got to the hotel, and they didn't have a reservation for me and they were completely booked. The manager walked in while the desk clerk was telling me this, and he shrugged and said rudely, "there's nothing I can do about it." No apology or anything. The desk clerk on the other hand... more

A fantastic find for a city centre hotel. The staff were all very friendly, 1 in particular couldn't go out of his way enough to give us information and is obviously proud of his city. The hotel location is very convenient, although driving to it you think you are in the wrong part of town. The major attractions and restaurants,... more

This is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had in the US. I often take the reviews with a grain of salt, but the bad reviews of this place were spot on. They are remodeling now, but that only means the odd room here and there is surrounded by yelling, hammering, sawing workers beginning at 7:00 a.m.... more

The carpets throughout were stained, as were upholstry on the chairs. I almost did'nt spot hte dead roach in the corner of the room - it belnded in so well with the stains. Also the heating was not turned on till late october, and there were only 5 space heaters provided between about 60 rooms, so it was chilly at... more
