I have stayed at many Westin properties and this is the first that truly disappointed in every way. The staff was not very helpful and missed many opportunities to enhance the service experience. The elevators are profoundly slow, and there were always some that were not working, which did become a problem. As I had a toddler with a stroller,... more

I was here for a convention and this was the hotel that someone in our group reserved. Beginning with check-in, we were a group of three gals in one room. We were told that we were booked into a room with only 1 king bed, when we originally were booked with 2 queen beds. They said that they would bring... more

This place is a disaster - the rooms were not only shabby, they were dirty - the couch in our room had stains all over it, carpet was stained, when the maids cleaned the room they did not bring clean towels or new toiletries. What was even more annoying were the elevators - there were long waits each time we... more

I just returned from a stay over the 4th of July weekend. I understand they stll haven't recovered from the tornados but still - just an awful experience. The rooms: Bad. Size was okay. About a filty couch as I've seen in a hotel - hundreds of very visible stains. The pillows were bad, bathroom small, noisy rooms. The elevators... more

VALET: Is fine--expensive. The problem is that there are bums standing outside the hotel. You would think they would get a security guard to keep them away from the guests. CHECK-IN: We stayed at the Westin for 1 night on a Saturday. We requested early check-in, which they did not honor. Apparently, the hotel was booked the night before. Other... more

All I can say is what was once a great hotel isnt anymore. The check in was prompt but unfriendly and a sign of things to come. When we got off of the elevator on the 23rd floor, the carpet was stained and the hallways smelled disgusting.A wet-vac was in the hall (which remained the entire weekend in the same spot)masking tape on... more

I had to work in my company's Atlanta office for three weeks during May - June 08 and chose the Westin mostly because it was only two blocks from the office but also it was on the cheaper end of the other hotels in the area and as the regional accountant, had to set a good example. The good: The... more

WOW!!!! what a beautiful hotel!!! I visited Atlanta for my birthday this past April. When I initially contacted the hotel to make my reservations, I spoke with a very pleasant and helpful gentleman named, Segan. Segan turned out to be my savior. I had a very small issue with my reservation. I asked to speak with Segan and he immediately... more

I would have loved to have stayed here before the effects of the recent (? March '08?) tornado. The effects of the storm are still evident from both the exterior and interior of the building. Driving into town during daylight hours you can still see boarded windows and glass that has not been repaired. This isn't a super big eye... more

Early May stayed at the Westin for the International Reading Conference. Proximity to the World Congress Center was the only highlight. Very disappointed in the hotel. Complained to front desk...they blamed the tornado(?March) which had nothing to do with the oldness/quality of the room. Drapes and carpets in bad condition, I wouldn't walk on the stained carpet without wearing shoes.... more
