Great views. Floor to celing windows. Ask for a high floor as the views are obviously better. Everything else is pretty standard. Each time I have stayed there, it has been clean. Only drawback is the parking. $30 a day and slow valet service. Staff is pretty friendly. more

This Sheraton is located just across the street from the French Quarter. All of the staff were friendly and the lobby is pretty impressive. The room itself was average size, comfortable and well maintained. The pool area was tiny and the hot tub had been tiled over (?). The biggest negative was the high cost of parking ($30+/night... no in/out).... more

I stayed here during the 2008 Essence Music Festival. Pros: Very nice hotel, easy check in (got there the day before the events started) and checkout was also good, a little slow, but got out okay. Clean room, big comfortable bed, very nice bedding, always had plentiful towels and washcloths. Had a very nice view of the Mississippi River and... more

This is a very nice/beautiful Sheraton. We had a room overlooking the water and this was great. Right at the beginning of the French Quarters and esy access to all resturants and shops. The only draw back was the $30+ to park each day as well as the front desk staff answered your questions, but was not overly nice. I... more

Stayed here for two nights for a conference. This hotel was the site of the conference so I had little choice but this was okay. I requested a room on the Club level and despite a rather snooty check-in agent who told me that this was a request and could not be guaranteed (despite Starwood membership), I did get a... more

This hotel has a great location on the edge of the French Quarter, two blocks from Harrah's, three from River Walk, and not a bad walk from the convention center. It is close to all three of New Orleans' street car lines. It has an excellent meeting facility which was perfect for our conference of about 800 people. This was... more

This is a lovely hotel. The bell staff were fun and very informative. After we checked in we stopped by to get a recommendation from them on a lunch spot. They chatted us up then sent us to Acme Oyster Co. Great call we couldn't have been happier. Our room was really nice with a beautiful view. The pool was... more

I stayed at the Sheraton while at a conference. Stayed 2 nights. Room was clean and maintenance fairly good. Nice view of the river. Good location. Room service(breakfast) was very prompt food good and at temperature. Also a Starbucks in the lobby. Staff accomodating. After reading other reviews I expected noise but it was very quiet. Good trip all in... more

I stayed at this hotel June 1-5 2008 for a conference. I stayed on the 47th. floor (club room). The first room was a view of the french quarter, but I wanted a water view. I went back down to the desk, and they changed me without any problem at all. I checked in about 11:00 a.m. so I ran... more

Though on the whole the hotel was neat, clean, and reasonably modern, I found the experience frustrating. They have a tendency to "nickel & dime" their visitors at every opportunity. The fitness center is not free; neither is internet access. Most hotels at least have free wireless internet in the common areas of the hotel (e.g. the lobby), but this... more
