The location is on the corner of Canal and Bourbon Streets. My room was directly above Canal St and quite loud. On Thursday night there were street musicians (bunch of kids with tubas, trumpets, drums and trombones) playing jazz. Sounds good from the street but from the room it sounds like the local high school marching band playing in your... more

Wonderful hotel! I rank it right up there with the Omni Royal. It's conveniently located one block off Bourbon. The room was nice with a lovely pool view, with french doors that opened out onto the patio! The only issue I had was the breakfast buffet was very disappointing! The bacon was almost raw, or was it just slathered in... more

Rooms are large but poorly lit with dinky light bulbs in the few lamps that actually worked. Dark walls, dark rug, high ceiling, generally depressing environment. Ironing board in the room didn't have a cover. General run-down appearance. Room service breakfast was nicely presented and right on time. A block from Bourbon Street. more

We foolishly booked this hotel THEN read reviews here. So I was a little scared. Rated only 62 out of about 150, and read a couple bad reviews. Well read this one. No complaints about this hotel except one. Sunday checkout had only one desk person working. The room was great. Standard room was HUGE. 12 foot ceiling. HUGE! This... more

We have never been treated with such disrespect from a customer service venue. It is comparable to Walmart employees attitudes with a Tommy Hilfiger price tag. more

My boyfriend and I stayed over Memorial Day weekend. Great location, one exit onto Bourbon, another onto Canal. The RedFish Restaurant is very good! The room was so spacious! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. My only complaint was the air conditioner was noisy, but we got used to it. Will definitely stay there again. more

Not a bad place, but the service was terrible. I was in my room, working, and wanted dinner, so I called room service. 20 rings, no answer. So I called the front desk. They transferred me. 20 rings, no answer. So I called the front desk, they said that they didn't know why room service wasn't picking up, and that... more

The location of this hotel was superb. Right on the corner of Bourbon and Iberville. My family and I traveled here for Jazzfest where the hotel was kind enough to rent school buses to shuttle us over for a small fee. There are beautiful chandeliers and marbel floors and a nice atmosphere. The staff was great and knowlegeable both about... more

Upon arriving to the gas lit courtyard and walking inside, I knew I was in for a great stay. The front desk personnel were GREAT. Very attentive and courteous. The stay was above and beyond what I was originally expecting. It was the kind of stay that made someone wonder why it wouldn't be a great idea to live in... more

I stayed at this hotel for mardi gras this year and had a great time. I checked in on Friday and left on Ash Wednesday. The check in was prompt and I was able to have the parking fee for the garage across the street included in my bill (it was overpriced parking, but the location couldn't be more convenient).... more
