We spent 4 nights last summer and had a blast. New Orleans is such a great city and the Sweet Olive Inn is the perfect homebase for exploring the town, The House and the rooms are beautifully decorated in a very charming neighborhood, Faubourg Marigny, right next to the french quater. I just returned from spending New Years weekend at the Sweet Olive and I'm happy to report the B&B weathered Katrina without a scratch. David and Dale hosted a great open house on New Years Eve, and Ms. Clara's morning coffee was just as good as I remembered! The Sweet Olive is an easy walk to the French Quarter sights... more

The house is very charming, beautiful and clean. The owners of the B&B are the most gracious hosts one can ever find. They made our stay very enjoyable. THANK YOU more

Very quaint B&B. Our hosts were great. We had one of our best times ever spent in New Orleans. I would definitely recommend the Sweet Olive Inn to anyone wanting a nice quiet place to stay. The rooms are all hand painted by an artist that used to live there so it is very unique. Check it out guys! more

Hosts David and Dale went out of their way to make my stay (summer 2004) at their B&B enjoyble and "laid-back." The house is very large with high ceilings and authentic 19th-century ambiance.
