Because of a death in the family we had to make arrangements to travel to Madison very quickly. I wanted to find lodging at a reasonable price but didn't want to stay in a sub-par hotel. We booked at the Best Western West Towne suites and hoped for the best. We were pleased with every aspect of our stay. Check-in... more

We stayed at this hotel for three nights (Fri-Mon 8/8 - 8/11). We had already prepared ourselves for an older hotel but thought we would try it because the price was right. We booked a two room King suite (bedroom + sitting room), that had a microwave and mini-refrigerator. From a general point of view, the hotel was definitely older... more

Upon arriving I had mistakenly booked the room for a month ahead of time, but that was no problem at all. The front desk painlessly gave us a Suite, which was the same price as the 2 King bed room we had orignally booked. The rooms were clean and smelled fine, bed and pull-out sofa bed were both quite comfy,... more

A great option for people traveling with pets or for people simply looking for a clean, comfortable room at a great price. The staff including the management were professional, helpful and friendly. The room while a bit dated was clean, quiet and comfortable. We skipped the breakfasts so cannot comment on quality or quantity of the food as we never... more

A group of us, 15 girls, went to Madison, WI for a weekend shopping trip and stayed at the Best Western West Towne Suites. The hotel was easy to find, right off the beltline and across the street from the West Towne Mall. We booked four rooms over the internet at a decent price. We checked in at approximately 10:00am... more

They advertise king sized beds. Beware - they have two sizes of king sized beds, but fail to disclose that to the public. You will be charged the same rate for a room with a regular king sized bed as a room with what is a smaller bed, which they claim is also a king sized bed. I brought this... more

Management response from
Randee Talwar, General Manager

It is unfortunate that this Guest did not like our California/ Hotel(72 inch width) King size Beds in single Bed Rooms. Upon concern our Front Desk Supervisor happily gave Double King Bed Room which carry standard(76 inch width) King beds with no extra charge. More than one size King beds are used industry wide. Since we don't have elevator in...

We stayed here one night while traveling. The hotel was a little hard to find. There is no pool, so if this is important, don't stay here. The room was very nice, large, and clean. There is shopping nearby and lots of restaurants. The cook to order breakfast was good but not outstanding. You have 4 or 5 choices, but... more

Can't fault the breakfast. Very reasonable pricing for all, considered. The A/C didn't work with a hoot. Other party with us got a room upgrade due to the odor in her room. All in all.. ok for the rate. more

Huge clean rooms, great soundproofing, seamless wifi, and a true made to order breakfast make this property a great value. The beds are comfortable, there is a fridge in the room, and plenty of workspace. Although this is an older property, it is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Great for business travelers, extended stays, or families. No elevator, so... more

This is a low budget hotel with many amenties of a 5 star (and some more). We booked a king room and obtained a suite with a kitchenette for the same price (71.00 with AAA discount). 1) King bed (perfect firmness--do-not-disturb quality). The bed had enough pillows for every part of the body (total of 6). 2) Kitchenette - Electric... more
