The valet greeted me with a warm smile, and the entire staff was equally charming. My room was spotless, looked newly renovated, and smelled great. Needed a car in the morning and they came through for me! Great Italian, and Greek restauants are 1 block away. Took the subway to Manhattan the next day (1 block to entrace on 4th... more

We stayed here for one evening and were surprised at how dated the hotel was. The walls looked dingy and dirty as did the linens (the bed was very comfortable though). The room smelled of smoke so we chalked it up to the room probably once being a smoking a room. Not the case. The next morning I noticed that... more

I must begin saying my Easter Weekend stay at The Gregory was a delightful experience. But much of that satisfaction can be attributed by the fact we were visiting the super high priced NYC. If The Gregory was located in Baltimore or most other American cities I would have rated it an average stay. Pro's- Although our standard room with... more

This hotel has an incredibly friendly staff. They went out of their way to always greet us, to answer any question fully, and to even give related information. The location is excellent; near the R subway and near many local restaurants. The Bay Ridge neighborhood is pleasant for an evening stroll. You can also walk to a park near the... more

As a former resident of Bay Ridge, the Gregory's neighborhood, I was delighted to be able to stay there some 50 years later. The neighborhood was as nice as when I was a chld. The hotel was very clean, service was good and the room was nicely decorated. Valet parking was reasonable. The subway is close and the ticket agents... more

This is a hotel that exudes mediocrity. I booked it out of necessity, not out of choice. Having said that, it was an adequate place to stay. Upon check-in, or I should say attempting to check in, the desk clerk dutifully ignored me for about five minutes. She must have received her customer service training at the Department of Motor... more

Found this hotel after escaping from another worst hotel in Brooklyn. Lobby looks good but spoiled by rude and unfriendly staffs, the valet would be better off if he found himself as a mugger down in some alley. The receptionists are condescending and unhelpful. Room rate does not justify its self prophesied luxury standard, extractor fan at bathroom hums like... more

The service was terrible. The receptionist at the front desk was very rude. The beds were flimsy and uncomfortable and the coffee maker was broken. The pillows were old and raggedy and I woke up with a bad case of conjunctivitis (pink eye) that took almost a week to heal. Nice location, but if you're looking for quality and great... more
