My wife and I liked it. The location is ideal for visiting our daughter, who lives in Brooklyn Heights in an apartment too small to accommodate guests. The rooms are tiny, so we booked two rooms, one for each--that's still cheaper than the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott, the only other viable choice. Redhook is an interesting place to walk around and... more

We were a bit nervous at first when we saw the thick glass separating us from the clerk at the desk to check in but I have to say our room was very clean but very small. A bit close for all 3 of us especially when we added the roll away for my 11 year old daughter. We walked... more

A total disaster in every way. Rude staff, small rooms, sheets don't fit, internet out of service, cold coffee machine ($2 for tiny cup) in lobby, (out of order one day), our reserved room with 2 beds not available on check-in. Worst hotel experience of a lifetime! more

I was very apprehensive having read some of the reviews on TripAdvisor about the neighborhood, but that industrial area is on the one side of the property we never accessed driving or walking to the subway. In fact, the 10 minute walk to the subway is through a beautiful Brooklyn neighborhood of brownstone homes with landscaped small yards that are... more

The rooms are small but we didn't need much...using it just for sleep and showering. Perfect for what we needed it for. Staff is very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. more

I wasn't expecting much when I arrived at the Brooklyn Motor Inn but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel looks to have been recently renovated. Parking was easy and safe. The rooms, halls, elevators, pretty much every area of the hotel were very clean. The gentleman working the front desk bas beyond nice and helpful. THe only negative I can... more

This is the smallest room I've ever stayed in but it was clean and had everything I needed. It's economical and the free parking is a definite plus! more

We were a little worried about our reservations at the Brooklyn Motor Inn after reading some of the reviews posted here and talking to some people about how rough Red Hook is. However, it was a wonderful experience. The rooms are small, but adequate. And since we weren't in New York to stay in a hotel room, this facility was... more

I stayed at the hotel because it was only two (very long) blocks from the cruise terminal. I took the F subway line from New York and walked the six blocks to the hotel - not recommended if one has a lot of luggage, as one has to cross a foot bridge over a 6 land highway. A good map... more
