My friend and I spent three nights at the Le Jolie last weekend. The staff went out of its way to help us with directions, transportation and other advice. Each and every one of them from the Front Desk to the Breakfast Room to Housekeeping had a smile and cheery disposition. We shared a twin room (twin rooms all face... more

I was looking for a nice hotel in Brooklyn for a recent personal visit. This hotel was VERY clean and the rooms were adorable. The mattresses were wonderful and the big screen TV hanging on the opposite wall was a big hit with my son. I guess my only criticism would be the boring breakfast (included with all rooms). It... more

We arrived quite late on a Friday night, and the front desk and bellman were quite pleasant. The lobby is quite nice, and our room was on the 2nd floor. Once we got to our room, it was quite comfortable, although it was VERY small. Which is typical for any NY area hotel room. We managed our space by putting... more

The hotel is overpriced for what it is. It is close to the subway, the beds are comfortable, it has a big TV, and is clean, but it has many problems. First the room was very small. We couldn't even open the door to the bathroom all the way because it hit the bed. Second, the bathroom is so small... more

When we checked in to Le Jolie, we were initially very pleased with our room, though off-put by the less-than-friendly clerks at the front desk, who practically threw our credit card back at us. The room was clean, quiet, and seemed in good shape...until we tried the shower. The knob was broken -- it came off in our hands. It... more

We were thrilled to stay at this hotel. Quiet, very comfortable, room size good for NYC. Very nice hotel in general. If you reserve at this hotel, make sure you are not on the first floor since the lobby and breakfast area is noisy. We had to change room but room price was 260 per night instead of 175-200. We... more

I first want to say that the hotel staff from the front desk to the girl in the breakfast room were very friendly and accommodating but the manager needs some people skills. When I found this hotel on line in late Feb. the rate was 169.00. When I called a week later to book it had jumped to 219.00. He... more

We spent one night at the Jolie hotel, on our way back to Norway after a three weeks holiday in the US. We ended up booking this hotel, since all the hotels in Manhatten were fully booked or out of our price range. First when we arrived we weren't too happy about the location, the area looked really run down.... more

My husband and I had a pleasant, convenient stay here mid-February 2008. A new hotel -clean, mostly well run (housekeeping is getting into the swing of things). Good security, friendly check-in. Breakfast is continental and adequate - great hours (11a.m. isn't too late). Executive King rm w/view is a bargain. Excellent view of Empire State and Chrysler buildings lit up... more

It's a new hotel just open in Novemebr-2007. Courteous staff, very clean, nice view of midtown manhattan. Next door restaurant is plus to this hotel. Food was great and hotel is only two blocks away to subway station and 2nd stop to union square NYC. Rates are very reasonable compare to NYC hotels. All the toiletaries, linens, towels, bedding are... more
