Two friends and I stayed three nights at the Hilton Garden Inn and enjoyed it very much. The rooms are clean and smell nice (we had non-smoking). The rooms are a little small, but we didn't spend much time there, so that wasn't a problem for us. Bathrooms are bright and up to date, with really good showers. The hotel... more
We stayed here one night. Excellent location, and very new, clean facility. Helpful concierge. The only thing that irritated me was that I requested sheets and blankets at 10:15 PM because the sofa bed only fit one person, and one of my sons slept on cushions which then needed to be wrapped in something. The desk clerk told me he... more
My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We were worried about the noise because we had 2 small children but we requested a room not on Bay St and noise was no problem. Nice pool, kids had a great time swimming all hours of the day. Great location. Valet staff was very friendly and prompt. We... more
I stayed at the hotel this July because I was attending a school orientation for Savannah College Art & Design. The location of this hotel is excellent. They are within walking distance of both River Street and the historic Squares. I chose to do vallet parking, there was no wait. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and in excellent condition. Everyone... more
Staying in the old part of town is not cheap, but if you're a tourist on your first visit to Savannah it is worth the expense. The Hilton Garden Inn is a great choice, close to all the action, with nice comfortable rooms and all the amenities you would expect. I strongly recommend that you park in the lot behind... more
Our experience wasn't pleasant and we do not recommend this hotel. Although it is a good location for walking to City Market and Riverfront, you would be better off staying elsewhere. The street noise and partying from City Market was unbearable. We didn't get any sleep that night. The jacuzzi in our room didn't work. The front desk said they... more
This is a clean hotel with an excellent location. The outdoor pool was small, but seemed clean and was refreshing. It is an easy walk to the riverfront and the city market. One thing that we were not heppy with was the advice of the conceirge. She advised us to take a trolley tour of the city and gave use... more
This hotel is just not very comfortable. Our room was very noisy, both street noise and people in the hall; the walls seemed to be super thin. Room was much smaller than other Hilton Garden Inns where we have stayed. Asked for a room with a good view and got a view of the ratty Quality Inn across Bay Street!... more
Our first time in Savannah. This hotel was one of the best I've stayed in. Easy walking distance to every place we wanted to go. Staff couldn't have been friendlier. They were all great. I definately would stay here again. What a beautiful hotel and city. more
