We chose this hotel because we were weary and the location was convenient. Room was dirty - floor, door casings and bathroom. Breakfast was limited. One desk person was pleasant, the other surly. Should we be in Savannah again we will not choose this hotel. more

We picked this motel due to location and price. Location was great - only 3 blocks to the historic district and on a main street. I'd read reviews of this property being renovated, but I failed to see it. Our room was filthy. It literally smelled like urine. The carpet was filthy - our socks turned black when you walked... more

I've seen a few reviews on here that mention that the hotel was clean. I couldn't pinpoint one surface (wall, floor, sink or otherwise) that was clean. We encountered a number of roaches in our room and one of the "clean" towels on the rack had pubic hairs in it. This hotel is in need of parking lot security. We... more

Walking distance to Riverwalk---a no frills hotel but clean and a very friendly staff----would upgrade next time but not bad for a night's stay---you get what you pay for and it was OK more

The location is great. It's walking distance to the histroic sites. The staff are nice, but...... 1) They charged us $8 to park! It was late at night so we didn't have the energy to find another place. But, we were able to keep the car there while we went sightseeing the next day. 2) There's no weather strip on... more

I travel to Savannah three or four times a year and for years I've always stayed here. It simply can't be beat for value in the historic district. There are certainly many better places to stay but it will cost much more to do so. The rooms have always been clean and the service fine. I just can't see spending... more

ok so i read negative comments because it's not the ritz! It is $109, great location! very close. The room was clean and the air conditioner was kicking. The staff was very nice, because we didn't have attitudes to start out with. It was only a place to crawl into bed after a full day of exploring and drinking and... more

First the positive things to say: The hotel is within walking distance to historic district and is close to an Interstate exit and has free parking. I didn't particularly like the location because a Greyhound station is next block and I did not feel too safe in the area - but my impression might have to do with only very... more

My husband and I were in Savannah for the 4th of July and after reading the reviews posted prior to our trip we expected the worst. What we found was a satisfactory room that was clean and very close to River & Bay Streets. The hotel personnel were extremely nice. My husband's cell phone was accidently left in the room... more
