Had a booking at the Days Inn I95 gateway but this had closed down so we stayed at the Microtel. Ended up with a suite as this was all that was available. Room clean and comfortable. Reasonably good free breakfast. Enjoyed the indoor hot tub & swimming pool. Convenient overnight stop on way to Florida. more

Overall, the motel was okay. However, we usually stay at the Microtel in Pooler, just a few exits down. It is nicer and much closer to Downtown Savannah. The "gateway" location is billed as minutes from downtown, but is actually at least 30 minutes away, through much traffic. If you want to visit the Historic District, stay a little closer. more
