It started with the walk across the street from the parking ramp- The crosswalk means nothing to the drivers and there is no skyway - so put on your helmets, elbow pads, and running shoes! i was concerned when I looked at reviews from last year. More recent ones were more complimentary. I had a good stay at the Brookshire. Nothing spectacular, but checkin was easy (booked through Hotwire). Room was clean and comfortable. The complimantary breakfast had a wide selection, and was warm.
