This is a charming and authentic piece history that dates back to the Colonial period. It works beautifully as a B&B and history buffs will love it. The location is perfect, in the heart of the historic district and easy walking distance to all the attractions. The restaurant across the street even serves authentic period cuisine and is highly recommended.... more

The Thomas Bond House was easy enough to find (GPS!) and is in a good location of historic Philly. The innkeepers were friendly and happy to help if asked. The room (Sarah Venebles) was small but fine for 2 nights. The breakfast buffet of Friday morning was good and the cooked breakfast on Saturday morning was also good. The Cheese... more

We stayed 4 nights at the Thomas Bond House and had an excellent stay. The minute we walked in the door we felt right at home. We stayed on the 3rd floor in the John Adams room. It was perfect for us. Some people might complain that it was cramped but it was just right for us. The bed was... more

We loved this quaint B and B. The history of this home was wonderful and its central location to so many historical spots in Philadelphia was perfect. The staff was helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. We flew in for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We didn't have a car, but never needed one since everything was walking distance. A... more

My wife and I just spent a night at the Thomas Bond House, we wish it were longer. The location to the historical sites cannot be beat. We parked our car next door in the garage, for a very reasonable rate, and never needed it again. The B&B itself is well appointed with a sitting room with maps, menus, and... more

We stayed here over Mother's Day weekend and found it to be a great central location to explore the historical sites of Philadelphia. It is also within a few blocks of many great restaurants and bars. I believe it is the only property on the grounds of Independence National Park. Thomas Bond (this was his home) was a physician and... more

Thomas Bond is a lovely little B&B in Philadelphia. It is an old town house, and our room was on the 4th (Top) floor – which was good exercise as there is no lift! The room itself was spacious with wooden floorboards, a well sized bathroom and a big comfy bed. Thomas Bond House is well located in the centre... more

This B&B is in a perfect location for those who want to visit all the major sites of Philadelphia. If you're a walker, you can pretty much walk anywhere, even as far as the art museum if the mood strikes you. The room was very small and basic, although there were decorative accents that were appropriate for the era that... more

Great location, clean, walking distance from major attractions, friendly staff . However, even though they suggest at bathrooms to reuse the towels for energy savings (which we totally agree on), they leave the lights on for the whole night at the dining area &kitchen although it is closed for entering. After suggesting a staff older lady about the issue, she... more

I stayed at the Thomas Bond House during a conference for work. I had the John Adams Room on the 3rd floor. I knew the stairs would be steep, and they were, but it really wasn't that bad. The room was small but clean and cozy, and the bed was great. The free wireless internet worked great every time I... more
