Very nice but expensive hotel very close to independence park. I would not stay anywhere downtown with a family, as the entire area closes up at 5 p.m. with the exception of a few dive-type eating spots. Despite a late arrival, they had two complimentary "Kids packs" ready and waiting for our children. I purchased a two night stay at the Omni via Expedia. The room, described as a "parlor room" only has a pull-out sofa, no bed!
