This hotel is one of the best we have stayed at. The service was outstanding. Extremely nice and easy check-in. The employees were very helpful and friendly. When we checked in-it was early and we understood-our room was not ready. They stored our bags while we went to look around town. They took our cell phone # and called us... more

We had a comfortable stay in the Omni on a busy July weekend. Reception staff were very pleasant and friendly, as were the porters and concierge. The room was surprisingly drab for such an expensive hotel, especially when compared with the beautiful lobby. Nothing really wrong, just rather dated and dull, though the housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast in the restaurant... more

Very nice but expensive hotel very close to independence park. I would not stay anywhere downtown with a family, as the entire area closes up at 5 p.m. with the exception of a few dive-type eating spots. All the historic things can be seen in a day, so I would stay in a suburb and take a bus or trolly... more

Despite a late arrival, they had two complimentary "Kids packs" ready and waiting for our children. They almost immediately brought a tray of cookies and milk to our room for the kids (Dad ate one of the cookies though). A great touch - even though we were on a special low rate. Also very prompt and efficient service from Bell... more

Excellent service, excellent location, excellent everything. How does every Omni (including this one) execute on every detail without making you feel like you're smothered in kindness? I don't really care, just keep doing it. I stayed here during a conference and loved how warm and personal the hotel feels. Very much like heading "home" instead of to a certain mega-hotel... more

We had reservations at the Courtyard for our planned stay of 6/13- 6/16/08. Then read review on this site regarding the location of the hotel. Began to have doubts. Went to this site and researched Omni prices as I had stayed at this hotel before and had a good experience. Well, got a good price on Expedia and cancelled at... more

Excellent choice for a hotel stay in Philadelphia, particularly if you are there to see the historical area downtown. For that, this hotel has the best location of any hotel, approximately 200 yards from Independence Hall. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful- as well-prepared, organized and just plain nice as any we have ever experienced in 35 years of... more

Hotel put us on second floor street side. In addition to the street noise, there was no soundproofing in the hotel. We could hear every word the couple in the adjacent room was saying and unfortunately we were awoken by that in the middle of the night both nights we were there. In addition, on the second night the couple... more

I purchased a two night stay at the Omni via Expedia. The room, described as a "parlor room" only has a pull-out sofa, no bed! The hotel claimed that the fault is with Expedia and Expedia did not care. I have NEVER heard of a hotel room without a bed! We left a day early (despite paying for two nights).... more

Ok, let me first say that I read countless reviews on these sites, and 90% of the time I find all the negative reviews I read are inaccurate. I find most problems people report about, they probably bring on themselves. I don't have one complaint about this hotel, and honestly, my trip was much better because I stayed here. The... more
