I was just there and they are doing a major renovation. Looks like someone is putting a lot of money into the property and the hotel is going to be very nice. We loved the warm cookies! The gentleman that carried our luggage to our room was not very friendly. He did not say a word to us at all. It was a little uncomfortable. This is definately one of the worst hotels i have stayed in. It is run down and outdated. I understand they are going to start renovation soon; don't book a room here before that is completed. Go for the peabody a block away instead (actually tried to book there for my 2nd night, but they were full). more

When first arriving to the hotel the staff was very nice. Our room was ready and very clean upon arrival. The cookie was awesome. No complaints about the room or staff.
