Stayed one night at the Oxbridge and it was what I thought. A place to stay for less than $200 in Manhattan. The room was small but clean. The biggest complaint was the bed-the floor might of been better. If you want service and any thoughts of luxury this is not your place. If you just want a cheap room-go... more
I stayed in these apartments with my two children in late oct. Flying in from England the 4:00pm check in caused a problem as we were very tired. This was not the apartments fault as it is clearly advertised when you book but if flying from the U.K keep it in mind as the 5 hour time difference means you... more
Where would you start with this dump? The bed, small and so hard I thought I was homeless and sleeping on the streets. The sheets, torn and full of holes. The elephants upstairs late in the night running over the floor (maybe they were people but at midnight I thought it was an elephant) Blocked toilet. Yuk. then it cleared... more
...then this is hell! When we first opened the door we were immediately impressed with the size and features that the apartment had to offer. Great location, kitchenette, bedroom, tv, cd player... After reading the reviews on here, I was a little worried about the noise and bugs. First of all, there were no bugs and in fact, the place was SPOTLESS. It was much more clean than I anticipated. Second, the night before I stayed at the Waldorf for a company function and I found that room to be much more... more
We came armed with earplugs after reading other reviews here - and they were certainly needed. We had a rear apartment, which despite the cold weather was stiflingly hot. We had to have the (noisy) A/C on all the time to make it bearable. The shower was little more than a dribble, but the water was hot all the time.... more
I had stayed here before and loved it, I returned and took my friend with me she fell in love with these apartments. Pat thought she was at home and it was like a first time buyers apartment. the only downside is no lifts so ya need to be able to manage to get your cases up the stairs, but... more
My Mother and I were to stay at the Oxbridge Apartments from 2nd November to 6th November. I received a message from them on 29th October to tell me we could no longer be accommodated. Much distress - we were unable to find alternative accommodation possibly due to the New York Marathon taking place on the 6th November but the... more
My daughter and I stayed at the Oxbridge theatre apartments at the end of October for 1week and we where pleasantly surprised, some of the revues seemed to be quite alarming and I hope to put any reader concerns at ease. I chose the apartments purely because I have a 17 year old daughter who likes her on privacy, (I... more
