An amazing honeymoonStayed at this hotel for three nights at the start of East-West tour of USA. It is in a good location and comfortable enough. Some parts of the hotel are a bit tatty and a little tired would be the best description. more
We stayed here for our annual girls night out in the city. The room was adequate, although during the night we discovered we had a broken latch on our window and it wouldn't stay shut. The next morning we got stuck in an elevator. It was over 5 minutes before hotel personnel responded to our ringing of the alarm bell.... more
I stayed for one night as part of a business trip and felt that it was adequate for such a short stay. The shortcomings might have been more irritating on a longer stay. The hotel is quite dated (like most Holiday Inn's these days) but functional. It does seem very heavily used by tour groups, and it's probably better suited... more
I stayed here with a group of Girlfriends in March. It was the perfect hotel to explore the city. The rooms were huge! Lots of room to store the shopping and extra bags! The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. The ice machines in the halls were very handy. I will be fefinately staying here when I go back to... more
Stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. I only came to my room to sleep. Unfortunately I still had to get some work done from my room so I used the free internet and I have to say it was slooow. I think they regulate internet access since it is a decent sized hotel. The room was adequate,... more
We stayed at Holiday Inn Midtown on the recommendation of a friend. He stayed there for business a few years ago. We had a room on the 17th floor so we had a long ride whenever we went somewhere. The rooms were clean but the tub stopped draining one day and we complained about it. They sent up maintenance while... more
I stayed here for one night after my flight out of NYC was cancelled. The lobby and room were both average: nothing to write home about, but both were tastefully decorated and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom showed its age a bit, but the fixtures worked well. The room and bathroom were both above average in terms of... more
I was apprehensive about booking rooms at this location after reading the reviews on this website. However, after hours of researching hotels, I decided to take my chances. Yes, it's a Holiday Inn that you would normally pay $80 a night for elsewhere. But this is New York City, try and find another room this large and with this rate... more
I stayed at this Holiday Inn in March 2006, and again in April 2008. On both occasions, I couldn't have been happier. When I booked this latest time, I requested a non-smoking room and also mentioned the room number I had been in on my previous visit. I asked if I could have a room in a similar position, as... more
We arrived with our car, and the attendants took care of it immediately. We were checked in early without any problems. The room was clean and everyone was helpful. The only problem was the air conditioning. It was set at the lowest temperature, but the room was hot and stuffy. The location is great! You can walk to everything. more
