My partner and I chose the Bay Club Hotel and Marina largely for its scenic location on Shelter Island. We were not disappointed. Our second floor marina-view room was great--beautiful view and ample space. It is an excellent choice if you prefer to avoid the mega hotels in San Diego, which are full of the convention crowds.
