We stayed at the Hilton Misson Valley last week. The hotel is OK to find and once you navigate the car park quite easy to find the check in. The receptionists were polite and efficient. The rooms were the type we reserved and we were allocated the 8th Floor. The rooms are average, but needed some TLC as the bathroom... more

Nice-ishly remodeled hotel. Comfy bed, oddly configured room that was quite small. Valet parking is a total rip off 18$ !!:>0 As was room service. Pricey, as room service always is, but a $2 dine in fee, 18% service charge (NOT an automatic gratuity, service fee!). So your 20$ burger and soda is 20$ + 2$ + 3.96$ (service fee)... more

Hilton Diamond member I stayed at this property in Q'01, 2008 for a meeting which I was holding. The writing was on the wall as to the poor customer service I had received from the Event Coordinator. She was lackadaisical at best and really provided me with the worst experience that I’ve ever had coordinating a meeting at a hotel!... more

I recently returned from business trip in San Diego, where I stayed at the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley. The hotel was in a nice location, within walking distance to several chain restaurants and stores. It is easily accessible to the major highways in the area, allowing one to get around the city fairly quickly. The room I stayed at... more

I had a two week business trip. I was having trouble getting a reasonable rate on a local hotel and so the Hilton reservations agent was nice enough to check all the Hilton brands around the same area to see what was available in my price range. Upon arrival, the front desk clerks were extremely helpful and friendly. The lounge... more

I choose this hotel for its central location not for the location it is in ( hotel circle ). As it was very quiet I did not have any problems with parking but I can see when the hotel is busy it can be a tight squeeze. The rooms are tiny which was somewhat disappointing. The decor was ok ish.... more

We found this hotel to be lacking. The additional charges for internet connection both in the room $10 and in the lobby were something we expected to be included at the Hilton. We also were able to self-park for $13 a day in a lot that was very difficult to find spot available and even then, they were small and... more

I booked a stay at this hotel because a friend gushed about the location. It was nice, but I guess I expected more. We had a standard room with a great view of the fireworks from Sea World (an unexpected surprise). The room itself seemed dusty and my husband and I both commented on how we didn't feel the place... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a few days. It is right off the 5, so the location was excellent for getting to all the San Diego attractions quickly. Service and staff were excellent. We had no issues with the stay. We loved out room - it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed was amazing -... more

If you want a handicap accessible room you can only get one with queen bed. THAT IS BS Looking for a good place to stay night before charger game. I read all the good reviews on Hilton ( compared to other hotels in the area ) . We are big time Marriot customers but they are sold out the night... more
