A great hotel with a great location for a decent price in an expensive hotel city. $200 a night, compared with the $450 that the Marriott across the road wanted. We had an eighth-floor internal room for a night in July and were really impressed. The room was smallish (though with a huge bathroom) and had been recently modernized. A... more

My husband and I stayed at the Harborside Inn July 3rd and 4th. We were in room 805 Cityview. The room was very clean and the maid service was excellent. I would recommend a cityview room on a high floor. It was a bit noisy at night but with the windows closed and the air on and being exhausted from... more

My husband and I just got back from a trip to Boston for the 4th of July. We stayed at the Harborside Inn for two nights. We absolutely loved the location-one block from Quincy Market, Fanueil Hall, the waterfront, the North End (2 blocks away) and many of the historic areas. Our city view room was on the fourth floor... more

I usually check TripAdvisor before I book a hotel, but I found the Harborside Inn website somehow and booked directly with the hotel. I would say that we got lucky on this one. If I had read the reviews I might not have stayed there. Our primary goal was the location. We planned on spending little or no time at... more

We arrived very late1:00am and didn't have our bearings, got lost driving in from the airport but the front desk manager was very nice and helpful. Room was clean, modern, very cosy---small, but the noise from the cars outside was a problem. You couldn't hope to "sleep in". the location we discovered the next day was great! Close to the... more

My husband and I just returned home from a 4 night stay at the Harborside Inn. the location was perfect. This was our first visit to Boston, and the hotel is located near everything we wanted to see. The people at the front desk were very helpful, telling us the way to go, and what T stop to take. The... more

Well when other hotels are charging 400 a night, 179 seems great. And for a one night business stay it's fine. But dont let them give you the lousy rooms on the elevator shaft. No window except looking into the shaft. no amenities, but perfectly functional if all you want is a room in a great location. Think 5 story... more

We arrived with several bags, there was no assistance to get into the hotel. When we checked in, the two people behind the desk were not friendly and quite disinterested in welcoming us to their hotel, let alone to Boston. The coffee provided in the lobby was often empty. The room was average. Location excellent. more

Harborside Inn was a great, affordable hotel in a convenient location. The only thing I missed was a swimming pool - particularly because temperature were well into the high 90s the weekend we stayed in Boston. The room was well designed with a modern, simple decor. The bathroom had a huge, slate wall-in shower which was a real treat as... more

We stayed at the Harborside over Memorial Day Weekend. Our room was a smallish city-view room with a queen size bed that was very comfortable. The walls were exposed brick, and we had two pretty large windows overlooking the back side of the hotel (on a street, not an alley). The room was well furnished and attractive. The room was... more
