The hotel staffw ere lovely and welcoming. However, the hotel itself was not very clean, very run down in general, and in need of refurbishment. BUT great great location! To be reommneded for budget travellers, if you're not too fussy! the price was great too. more

I attended a conference in Boston for a week in Oct 07 and booked this hotel on the internet after searching all hotels online in the vicinity of the conference centre to no avail -unless I could have afforded $650 per night which was all that was left! (onference was at the Sheraton hotel, and all their rooms were booked... more

Stayed in a single room for 5 nights. Main reasons for choosing this hotel were price, location and availability. Was running in Boston marathon. Was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews on this website before travelling, but it was not that bad. Hotel is more like a B&B/guest house with 24hr reception. Room had an AC/heater unit... more

This place is absolutely awful. The entrance and elevator were dirty to say the least, and the whole place looks completely worn. I had a 5 sqm room with a narrow bed and a dying mattress. Though on the 5th floor the noise from the street was invasive, and there was almost no heating. On the morning I had to... more

Ok, so this is no Hilton, but I will tell you what, the hotel is really something. In a charming old building, very classic and right in the heart of the theatre district. Literally one block away for the T and near all theatres, shops, restaurants. Our room was adorable, very comfortably sized. Not ridiculously small as some people say.... more

I chose to stay at the Milner after reading a few reviews, it looked a reasonable kind of place to me. The rooms are clean but very small, if you want a closed in kind of feeling then this is the place for you. Not me, I would not choose to stay at the Milner again. The expression "you could... more

The ONLY thing this "hotel" has going for it is location. The rooms are incredibly small, well worn, and on my floor one lockset was missing and I could see the person in bed in their room via the 3 x 4" hole in the door. My room was crooked and had to body slam my way into the room.... more

I cannot over-emphasise how bad this hotel is. Do not stay here. Find a campsite or a cardboard box and sleep on the street. This is by far and away the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Due to the large conference in Boston we were attending all the regular business hotels were fully booked and we ended up... more

This place is without a doubt the worst place I have ever stayed in the world. To start with, I get there to check in and the woman behind the counter blows me off for 20 MINUTES while she calls and talks to various people on the phone. THEN after all that she looks up to tell me that she... more

As I recall, I wrote on the Milner's comment card that my room was so laughably terrible it was actually a fun experience. On top of everything, the floor sloped, so that when you got out of the bed to go to the bathroom, you wound up kind of "running" downhill! Even the manager, who came to the room to... more
